Believe it or not, this may be a good thing. What this really may be is frustration.
If your employees are frustrated, then they still care, and care deeply. We can work with that. If they are indifferent and have checked out, then that can be a bit tougher.
Here’s what to do:
First, listen to them. Find a real problem that affects both the business and your employees and listen to what they have to say. Set a realistic expectation to solve this issue while resolving their “pain point” at the same time. Let the Team come up with several potential solutions and choose one of those solutions to implement. Once you get a few of these small, quick wins under your belt, you will have begun to regain the trust of your employees and can continue to solve problems as a Team.
