A major player in the Aerospace, Defense, and Nuclear testing industry was purchased by a capital investment group. They immediately bought their largest competitor. The investment group wanted to seize value by streamlining operations and reducing costs. They are under NADCAP, ITAR, A2LA, and NRC governance. They called APO.

Our Approach

Advanced Process Optimization, Inc. was selected for our expertise in Lean Manufacturing Transformations. We had worked with the original company in the past for tactical Lean 5S deployments. We continued with our momentum and increased the scope to Kaikaku level transformation.

The Results

We conducted massive Kaikaku transformations that got the attention of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in a good way. We also made radical transformative improvements using 5S + Safety, Lean 6S, Visual Workplace, Daily Management Boards, Metric Development and Deployment, Strategy Mapping and more. The transformation continues.
